President Donald J. Trump has seen an increase in his support among Republican primary voters according to a new Rasmussen Reports national phone and online survey.
Fifty percent of likely GOP primary voters said they would vote for Trump if the primary were held today. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis received 12 percent while Nikki Haley was third with 9 percent.
It’s an increase of five points from September when Trump received 45 percent.
DeSantis gained three points after tying with Chris Christie at 9 percent in September. Haley has gained two points. Christie, meanwhile, has fallen to 5 percent. Vivek Ramaswamy is next with 3 percent.
Trump has gained support from white voters, black voters and other minorities since September as well.
