Trump Victory held its fourth National Day of Action (NDOA) of 2020 on Saturday. An incredible total of 1.4 million total voter contacts were made during the day.

This National Day of Action was 100 percent virutal. It was the first time 100 percent of calls came from the comfort of folks in their own homes using the Trump Talk app.

The calls encouraged voters to visit the CDC website, follow their guidance and stay safe in addition to highlighting what President Donald Trump and his administration are doing to fight the Coronavirus.

Throughout last week, there were hundreds of Trump Victory Leadership Initiative trainings held in virtual settings. These meetings help train volunteers on in-home call applications and ways to engage with voters virtually.

The TVLI trainings are designed to spur rapid volunteer growth and spread the message of Trump’s campaign and the Republican Party to every town in the country.

Saturday’s NDOA increased the total number of voter contacts to nearly nine million, which is far ahead of where efforts were in 2016 and 2018. In fact, the number of calls made Saturday alone was higher than any total week’s calls in 2018 until mid-September.

Between the RNC and the Trump campaign, more than 550,000 volunteers have been trained and activated. Supporters can visit TrumpVictory.com to become involved.

In Iowa, there have been nearly 240,000 voter contacts and more than 300 trainings. Last week, during the week of action, Iowans made more than 50,000 voter contacts.

These efforts extend down the ballot as well. Within 24 hours of President Trump’s social distancing announcement, the RNC had digitized its entire field program.

“The RNC’s ability to digitize its entire field operation within 24 hours is a testament to the strength of its permanent ground game,” said RNC spokesperson Preya Samsundar. “While we continue to outmatch the Democrats in resources and fundraising, our ability to organize our army of volunteers no matter the situation will propel us to victory.”
