Fifty-four percent of likely voters said they believe Republicans will impeach President Joe Biden if they obtain control of Congress in the midterm elections, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national phone and online survey.

Just 32 percent said they do not believe it is likely a Republican-controlled Congress will impeach Biden.

Forty-nine percent of likely voters said they believe it is likely Biden has committed “high crimes and misdemeanors” since becoming President that would justify his impeachment. Just 42 percent say it isn’t likely.

While there is an obvious partisan divide, 50 percent of unaffiliated voters believe it is at least somewhat likely Biden has committed “high crimes and misdemeanors” since taking office. Just 38 percent don’t think it is likely.
