On Thursday, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, issued the following statement after the October 2022 Consumer Price Index (CPI) revealed inflation has risen 13.9% since Joe Biden took office in January 2021.

“Everyday life is too expensive for working families in Wyoming and across the country. We can lower costs by unleashing American energy, cutting punishing regulations, and stopping runaway government spending. It’s time for Democrats to work with us to help American families.”
