On Thursday, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, issued the following statement after the October 2022 Consumer Price Index (CPI) revealed inflation has risen 13.9% since Joe Biden took office in January 2021.

“Everyday life is too expensive for working families in Wyoming and across the country. Costs remain at a 40-year high because of wasteful Washington spending and a war on American energy led by Joe Biden.
