Crime is skyrocketing in our nation’s cities, and many of the victims are children.

Yet, the media take notice only when it involves police confrontations that can be spun to advance their claims of “systemic racism” and police brutality.

If a black or Hispanic suspect is killed, no matter the circumstances, it is considered conclusive proof that officers are hunting them down.

However, when innocent young children are murdered while sleeping in their beds, playing in their yards, or sitting in a car with their parents, the silence of Black Lives Matter and the national media is deafening.

Since January 2020, there have been more than 100 murders of innocent children.

On May 17, six-year-old Aniya Allen was shot in a gang crossfire in Minneapolis as she and her mother were returning home after shopping and swimming. She died two days later.

Many children have been orphaned as well, victimized by violent criminals who took the lives of their parents.

In Chicago, for example, a couple were gunned down recently after a minor traffic accident while their children looked on.

There is no media outcry and no BLM protests. They are ignoring the national scandal of senseless violence against these innocent children and their parents.

What can be done to stop the carnage? How can we counter the leftist media’s profoundly dishonest reporting?

The short answer is to tell the truth, over and over.

On Wednesday, June 30, 10:00 AM ET, we will host a press conference at the Family Foundation at 707 E. Franklin Street in Richmond to bring public awareness and announce a plan to address this travesty in our cities.

Conference speakers will include two parents who have lost children in this senseless violence, as well as national leaders of STAND. We will explain our plan to address this urgent issue.

The public is invited, but seating is limited and will be reserved in the order of RSVP. Please let us know immediately if you will attend.

RSVP by either calling or emailing Pastor Marlin at 757-439-1458; [email protected]
