While Rita Hart and her DCCC lawyers want to move ahead and overturn a state-certified election, Hart’s would be colleagues are getting extremely uncomfortable.
Today, vulnerable House Democrat Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI-08) told Yahoo News, “I can’t turn around and vote to decertify something that’s been stamped and approved in Iowa.”
That marks three vulnerable House Democrats to come out and defect from Pelosi’s power grab. Yet Iowa’s lone federal Democrat Cindy Axne has not even acknowledge that Pelosi is attempting to disenfranchise over 400,000 voters in her own state.
“When is Axne going to stand up for Iowans,” said Republican Party of Iowa Communications Director Kollin Crompton. “It’s beginning to speak volumes about where Axne’s priorities are. Democrats in Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Michigan are willing to defend Iowa voters before our own representative. It’s getting ridiculous.”
