Republican Congressional candidate Jeremy Taylor deploys for three weeks of overseas training, beginning on Friday, May 31. Taylor serves as a Captain in the Iowa Army National Guard and is an Army Chaplain. He will be deployed to Romania.
During the overseas deployment, the Jeremy Taylor for Congress campaign will be paused.
Taylor stated:
“I am proud to once again be serving our country on active duty with the Army National Guard. Through my time with the Guard, I see the sacrifices of the men and women who secure our freedoms. I’m called to serve as their chaplain and consider it a privilege. I will be returning to the campaign trail in three weeks and picking up where we left off, with meetings in every county at the grassroots level.”
Michael Biundo, a general consultant to the campaign, stated:
“Over the past three months, Jeremy has been traveling throughout the district, talking to conservative activists and Republican voters, and the response has been overwhelming: People are looking for a strong, conservative leader who will stand on principle and who can win in a general election. When Jeremy returns to Iowa in late June, we will resume our grassroots-driven campaign.”
Jeremy Taylor is seeking the Republican nomination in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District. He is a County Supervisor in Woodbury County, the district’s largest county. He is an Army Chaplain, a small businessman, and with his wife Kim has 6 children.
