President Joe Biden announced on Sunday he would not seek re-election in 2024. Instead, he is dropping out of the race and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.

“My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President,” Biden said. “And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.”

Extreme liberal Congressman Ted Lieu said he was “thrilled” to see the endorsement.

“Four years ago I was the first member of Congress to endorse Kamala for President,” Lieu said. “VP Harris will be the Democratic nominee and she will win in November.”
