About 250 people attended a rally on Saturday in Cedar Rapids in support of medical freedom.

“There was tons of community support also — lots of cars going by honking and waving in agreement which seemed very encouraging to the nurses who were there,” said one of the attendees.

Rallies for the same cause have turned out hundreds of people in Des Moines as well. More rallies are planned across the state.

There is also a demonstration planned for Sept. 11 outside of Terrace Hill in an effort to encourage Gov. Kim Reynolds to step in and stop the employer vaccine mandates.
