Last night during a Democrat presidential debate, Joe Biden was asked an interesting question by Tim Alberta:

Vice President Biden, I’d like to ask you, three consecutive American presidents have enjoyed stints of explosive economic growth due to oil and gas production. As president, would you be willing to sacrifice some of that growth, even knowing potentially that it could displace thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of blue-collar workers in the interest of transitioning to that greener economy?

Biden’s answer was simple, “the answer is yes. The answer is yes.”

As much as Democrats hold the Electoral College in contempt, the reality is that’s how the next President will be chosen.

States like Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are going to be critical in deciding whether President Donald Trump gets a second term. And an answer like that from Biden is only going to help Trump’s chances.
