Briar Cliff University released its return-to-campus guidelines on Friday. Face masks or face coverings will be required to be worn on campus when in the presence of others and in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (common workspaces, bathrooms, hallways, meetings rooms, classrooms, etc.).

According to the guidelines, face coverings must be worn in common spaces even if you are the only person in the space.

They must be worn both inside and outside.

They may only be removed if you are alone and in a private space (private room, office or residence hall room.)

It is not a substitute for physical distancing — individuals must still stay at least six feet away from others.

Individuals will not be permitted to remain on campus if they forget to bring their face covering.

With these policies, it will be interesting to see if Briar Cliff attempts to participate in athletics.
