A Des Moines public high school is promoting a free walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic all over the school. Flyers are plastered at the entrances, in the hallways and the cafeteria inside Des Moines Lincoln High School.

The clinic is scheduled for Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. until noon at Vineyard Church. The flyer states it will be for the Pfizer vaccine.

“Everyone is welcome.”

“No appointment necessary.”

“No insurance needed.”

“Interpreters available.”

“Face mask and social distancing required.”

“You will be invited for second dose at the same location.”

There are phone numbers listed for other languages as well.

Hy-Vee, Iowa Department of Public Health and Vineyard Church are a few of the sponsors that appear on the flyer.

According to the school, the flyers would have to go through their administrative department — either approved by a principal or a vice-principal.
