Never Back Down released a new poll on Tuesday. The PAC, which is backing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, claims DeSantis has closed the gap with President Donald J. Trump in Iowa significantly.

According to the poll, Trump’s support has fallen from 48 percent in May to 39 percent. DeSantis has seen a bump from 24 percent to 29 percent.

None of the other candidates are above single digits.

In a potential head-to-head matchup, the survey claims Trump holds just a 45-43 lead against DeSantis, with 12 percent remaining undecided.

The survey also shows just 24 percent of “traditional Republicans” would caucus for Trump while 60 percent would caucus for DeSantis.
