On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) blasted the Biden administration for making America less safe by failing to address the border crisis.
Ernst pointed out that since Friday, over 9,000 illegal immigrants have crossed our southern border each day, which is roughly equivalent to the entire population of her home county, Montgomery County, Iowa. While hundreds of individuals on the terror watchlist cross our border and smuggle fentanyl into our rural communities, Biden is auctioning off materials for the wall that could be used to secure our border.
