Iowa fairgoers were pretty united in their opposition to a second term for President Joe Biden on Tuesday. The Iowa Standard asked fairgoers if they believed Biden deserves another term at its booth in the Varied Industries Building.
More than 1,000 people voted in the poll — nearly twice as many who typically stop and vote — with 877, or 87.6 percent, saying Biden does not deserve another term. Just 124 people, or 12.4 percent, said he does deserve a second term.
A number of fairgoers said Biden doesn’t “deserve” this first term, or quipped that he deserves another term — just one in prison.
On the flip side, there were around 50 people who voted no, but told us they would still vote for him if Republicans nominate President Donald J. Trump.
It was interesting to see so many people want to express their disdain for President Biden.
