With President Joe Biden’s Administration working to vaccinate every American by the end of the summer, it should also be noted that federal authorities are doing an investigation due to some COVID vaccine recipients developing thrombocytopenia, a rare blood disorder, with several cases resulting in death.
A spokesperson from the Food and Drug Administration is assessing the reported cases, but said it has not found a “causal relationship.”
Thrombocytopenia was listed as a possible adverse event from the vaccine last year by the FDA.
Thus far, “several dozen” case reports of post-vaccination thrombocytopenia have been submitted to VAERS.
Dr. Gregory Michael was a 56-year-old doctor from Miami who died 16 days after his COVID vaccine. His wife, Heidi Neckelmann, said Dr. Michael suffered a reaction to the vaccine.
