Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-02) released the following statement on her efforts to champion a culture of life, expand maternal care, and support new families on the one-year anniversary of Roe being overturned.

“Countless, precious lives have been saved as a result of the Supreme Court overturning Roe a year ago today. Our work to save more lives, ensure expecting mothers can access maternal care, and support new families is just beginning. From increasing the Child Tax Credit and expanding it to include the unborn, increasing support services at churches and community organizations, and bringing more midwives to rural communities — I am proud to champion policies that support a culture of life and family. I am grateful that Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa legislature are committed to defending life, and I will continue advocating for pro-family policies at the federal level.” – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
