AmericaFest attendees heard from Kari Lake on Sunday. Lake, who narrowly lost her bid to be governor of Arizona, is running for U.S. Senate. She said she’s been riled up for years but wanted to offer encouragement in her speech.
She noted that they are still in a battle to save our elections and suggested she and her team have “struck a nerve.” They are clearly talking about a topic they’re not supposed to mention based on how they are now being targeted.
“I’ll tell you what I said to these corrupt individuals – bring it on,” she said.
Lake is being sued by an elected official for defamation because, according to Lake, she had the “courage to speak out and talk about the disgusting elections.”
“They’re not elections, they’re selections,” she said. “And because I’ve had the courage to speak out, now they’re suing me for defamation. I’ll tell you what, anybody they’re attacking are the people you want to get behind and support.”
But she is not going anywhere. The “corrupt individuals” are stuck with her.
“They want us all locked up,” she said. “They want us all penniless, destitute and they want to go after people like Donald Trump, Kari Lake, Roger Stone, Rudy Guiliani, John Eastman, Roseanne Barr – she just wants to tell jokes. They’re going after you, you just don’t know it.”
Lake said one case is about public records requests, noting there is a right to public records. The fake news is rooting for the tyrannical government, not open records. The fake news is cheering for the tyrannical government in the election case. And now there is a case against Lake for criticizing elected officials, and the fake news is siding again with the tyrannical government.
“Your existence relies on the First Amendment,” Lake told the media. “So, I tell you, it’s time to go home and do some soul searching. Do you want to be journalists or do you want to be propagandists? Because we’ve got one choice – if the First Amendment is gone, you don’t have a job. Maybe that’s a good thing. So I will say, shame on you. Shame on you to the press that thinks they’re on the right side of history when they’re on the wrong side of history.”
Lake said the tyrannical government will not stop until it puts everyone who believes in America First is locked up. She noted everyone who liked or retweeted a Donald Trump tweet is on a list.
“It’s about silencing us,” she said. “They want to scare these amazing people. They’re coming after each and every one of us because we’re speaking the truth.”
In 2020, the government masked everyone and told them to stay separated due to COVID.
“That’s how they stop our movement. That’s how they kill our country,” she said.
This time that won’t work, but they will instead try to intimidate people into silence.
“We will not succumb to that pressure,” she said. “We should be flattered that they are coming after us because we are so powerful.”
Lake said she wants us to think it’s a 51-49 split, but she said conservatives are a “supermajority.”
“Can you even imagine if the Left tried to pull together a group,” she asked. “First of all, it would look like an Antifa riot for starters. They can’t do it because the people aren’t with them anymore. The Democrats are starting to come over.”
The old-school Democrat Party is gone, and today’s Democrat Party is “full-on Marxism.”
The fight can get heavy and tough, but she said she knows conservatives will win.
“When you’re only concentrating on the fight and the struggle and the battle it can get very heavy,” she said. “So I want to concentrate on what the victory looks like.”
Lake said the Left is worried about conservatives putting America First and saving the “greatest country on the planet.”
“These corrupt bastards don’t have a place in that country,” she said. “When we put America First and we put solutions first, the corrupt swamp is not part of that and they’re very, very worried about that.”
When America First is successful, Lake said the border will be secure and the wall will be built all across the southern border. The police will be fully funded and the streets will be safe again. Gas will be $1.75 a gallon. America will be energy-independent.
America First policies will allow young people to believe they can achieve the American Dream once again. January 6 prisoners will be freed from prison and the “real culprits who started that riot (will be) locked up behind bars.”
“I don’t know, maybe Nancy Pelosi was one of them,” she said. “Let’s get to the bottom of that, shall we?”
The only people out of a job will be the propagandists in the fake news. Young girls will not have to compete with a “bunch of mentally ill men” who like to dress up and wear makeup.
“No one is going to give up this fight,” she said. “It’s too important. Our founding fathers are counting on us. Our grandfathers, our uncles, our brothers who fought to save this country are counting on us. There is no weakness in this room is there? Who is ready to fight?”
Lake said it is important the conservatives do not experience “FOMO” from this moment.
“I don’t want a single person in this room to have FOMO because they didn’t have what it took to fight at the most pivotal moment in not just American history but human history,” she said. “This moment is big guys, you all get that. This is a big, big moment that we are facing right now. We’ve got 11 months to save the greatest country in the history of the planet and we’ve got to do it.”
God has strengthened conservatives for this moment and given them the tools and talents they need to play their part.
“Everything God put before you was to prepare you for this moment to save this nation,” she said. “The question is, can I come to you in 50 years, maybe 60 years, when you are sitting there with your great-grandchild. And they look at you and they say granny, granny or grandpa, what did you do? What was your part in saving the greatest country on the planet in the United States of America? What did you do? How were you involved?’ And you’re going to say I did everything I could. I used my God-given abilities, I stood up, I spoke up, I never sat down, I never shut up and I wasn’t alone.”
