Bronny James, the 18-year-old son of NBA superstar LeBron James, suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday while practicing at the University of Southern California.
Bronny is in stable condition at the hospital and no longer in ICU. The 18-year-old is ranked 20th in the 2023 ESPN 100 rankings and the sixth-ranked point guard in the class of 2023.
Last season, Vincent Iwuchukwu suffered cardiac arrest at USC as well.
In a Sept. 28, 2021 article on Deadline, LeBron revealed he took COVID vaccinations and hinted his family had been vaccinated. LeBron noted he was a “skeptic” at first, but did his “research” and decided it was the best decision for his family and friends.
Elon Musk tweeted the following:
We cannot ascribe everything to the vaccine, but, by the same token, we cannot ascribe nothing.
Myocarditis is a known side-effect. The only question is whether it is rare or common.

This comes days after an ESPN reporter who pushed the vaccinations fainted on air and NFL wide receiver Marquise Goodwin revealed an alarming diagnosis of blood clots in his legs and lungs.
