I was asked my opinion as to who I would support after Tim Scott dropped out of the Race. I was supporting Tim Scott for a number of reasons. To me, he seemed like a solid conservative. To me, he seemed to be a moral man and one who did not sling mud at every opponent.

Now that Tim Scott has dropped out, who can I support?

Maybe it would be easier to look at who I can’t support.

First of all, I cannot support Chris Christe. I do not even know how he can call himself a Republican. He is a nasty vindictive person who I feel would be much more at home in the Democrat Party. Christe in my opinion is certainly not a Conservative.

Neither can I support Vivek Ramaswamy. Do not get me wrong, He says a lot of things I like, he really does. My problem with Vivek Ramaswamy is that he is not a Christian. Vivek Ramaswamy is a self-professed Hindu.

One of our Founders, and the First Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Jay wrote that only Christians should hold public office in the United States. I agree with him. Our country was founded on Christian principles and the signers of the Constitution were all Christians of various denominations.

Finally, I cannot support Donald Trump. Donald Trump did a lot of good things while he was President. He gave us excellent Supreme Court Justices. He stood up to the world putting America First. The reason I cannot support Donald Trump is that I do not believe him when he says that he is a Christian. His actions far outweigh his words. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, and accept him into your heart, your whole life changes, the way you think, speak and act changes. I see a lot of hate in the things Donald Trump says. I cannot see Donald Trump asking himself the question, “What would Jesus do?” Donald Trump tells too many lies, and Satan is the Father of Lies.

That leaves me with whom I can Support.

I can support Nikki Haley and or Ron Desantis. Both are former Governors.

At the present time, I am leaning toward Nikki Haley.

If Donald Trump wins the nomination as now it seems likely, I will hold my nose and vote for him in the national election, but only because he would be the lesser of two evils.
