The caucuses are over, the conventions are coming up fast, time to get serious about ‘America First.’

We need to take a hard look at how to make the Republican Party Platform more effective.

The platform should be a guide of values and interests that Republicans want to be represented by the legislators they send to the government.

There is no reason to support candidates who ignore the platform and vote as they wish.

Such is the case with Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks, who only uses the Republican Party to get elected.

It’s obvious she’s in it for herself, not the people that put her in office.

She shows no interest in the critical issues facing our country and sides with Biden and his democrats often.

It’s time to require candidates to certify, in writing, that they have read, agree with and will vote according to the Republican Platform.

Absent that, they can join another party, start their own or just stay home.

Attempting to cover up 3M’s record, Governor Reynolds has endorsed her and sent out requests for contributions for her campaign.

That should send up a Red Flag to keep an eye on the governor’s tactics.

  1. I completely agree. There is a man running against her, David Pautsch. He seems like a wonderful man. I hope people support him.
