Moderate Minnesota Congressman Tom Emmer is one of the top candidates in the race for Speaker of the House. Emmer doesn’t just have a concerning Liberty Score from Conservative Review — 69 percent — he also has held a position in the past that should concern patriots across the country, especially in Iowa.

National Popular Vote wants to guarantee the Presidency to whichever candidate receives the most popular votes in all 50 states. According to reports, NPV has received “substantial funding” from the Soros family and gives most of its money to Democrats.

However, Emmer wasn’t just a supporter of NPV, he served as its national traveling spokesman.

Getting rid of the Electoral College will severely damage small states and their priorities — including Iowa. The Electoral College was established, in part, to avoid some sort of mob rule. There is a reason America was not — NOT — founded as a pure democracy.

What a dangerous idea not only supported and embraced but advocated for by Emmer.
