According to The Federalist, the National Association of Letter Carriers sent a letter claiming that President Donald J. Trump poses an “existential threat.”
The letter, which The Federalist posted, said that if Trump wins, “it could prove an existential threat to our union and our contract.”
“Your vote matters: consider how the consequences could affect you, your job and our union when deciding how to vote.”
While the copy of the letter shared by The Federalist was signed by a person called Don Griggs, he said it came from the AFL-CIO without his permission. Griggs is the President of the Georgia NALC.
According to The Federalist, Griggs said he did not approve the letter and his name was attached without his permission.
In 2020, The Iowa Standard knows that the National Association of Letter Carriers made its position clear — Trump needed to lose for the Postal Service to continue.
