On Thursday, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) sent a letter to Governor Greg Gianforte (MT) requesting support to stop the federal government from sending Afghan migrants to Billings.

“It is appalling that Biden’s unelected bureaucrats – who have been scheming with far-left NGOs – are jeopardizing the safety of our communities by allowing dangerous migrants to be released into Montana,” said Rep. Rosendale. “The last time migrant resettlement was attempted in Montana, an Afghan migrant raped a young woman.

“The federal government should substantially reduce or zero-out the number of migrants they are sending to Billings to ensure the security of our state. Governor Gianforte is uniquely suited to voice these concerns, and I welcome his support to help fight to protect the people of Montana.”
