Following her visit to affected areas in Davenport and Buffalo last weekend, Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) continues to call on Congress to take action to provide disaster relief to Iowans who have suffered from devastating floods. Senator Ernst also continued to put the pressure on China to come to the negotiating table and work in good faith toward a good trade deal that will open up this important market for Iowa’s farmers and manufacturers.

Additionally, Senator Ernst highlighted Military Appreciation Month and announced that she will join a number of her colleagues on the Senate floor this week to express her gratitude for servicemembers, their families, and our veterans in Iowa and throughout the nation.
