Jesse Green is running for the open Iowa Senate District 24 seat. Green won a competitive Republican primary and is now taking on Democrat Cynthia Oppedal Paschen.

Green has energy and enthusiasm. He is a great listener and is committed to furthering the Republican agenda in the Iowa Senate that has helped position the Hawkeye State to be the top state in the nation when it comes to handling the COVID-19 crisis.

He’ll join a GOP caucus in the Iowa Senate that defends unborn life, champions Second Amendment rights and fights as hard as they can for responsible spending and lower taxes.

And Green has every intention of joining in the battles for gun rights, for “God’s children — both born and unborn” as his website states, our veterans and Iowa taxpayers.

He has already served his community in various roles as a fifth-generation farmer. He was the Webster County Farm Bureau Board secretary, a local educator and Bible teacher at Community Christian School, former chair of the Dayton Rodeo and Celebration Committee and was named a top-10 under 40 awardee in 2017 by the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance.

More than fitting the GOP caucus, he fits the district.

Green deserves to be elected to a four-year term in the Iowa Senate.
