The DeSantis War Room Twitter account shared a video highlighting President Donald J. Trump’s support for LGBTQ issues and contrasting that support with efforts by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to stop the LGBTQ agenda in its tracks.

The Log Cabin Republicans, who Trump hosted at Mar-a-Lago to celebrate the passage of the Respect for Marriage Act, called the video “divisive and desperate.”
“Republicans and other commonsense conservatives know Ron DeSantis has alienated swing-state and younger voters,” the Log Cabin Republicans said. “Conservatives understand that we need to protect our kids, preserve women’s sports, safeguard women’s spaces and strengthen parental rights, but Ron DeSantis’ extreme rhetoric goes has (sic) just ventured into homophobic territory.”
The Log Cabin Republicans added DeSantis cannot tell the difference between “commonsense gays and the radical Left gays.”
“His naive policy positions are dangerous and politically stupid,” the group said.
Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner also thanked the Log Cabin Republicans for exposing the “horribly divisive tactics.”
Jenner is a topic of discussion in the video as Trump said he would be fine with Jenner using the female restroom at Trump Tower.
At that celebration with the Log Cabin Republicans at Mar-a-Lago, Trump was quoted as saying:
“We are fighting for the gay community, and we are fighting and fighting hard. With the help of many of the people here tonight in recent years, our movement has taken incredible strides, the strides you’ve made here is incredible.”
