The New York Post reported on Sunday that Jason Miller, a top Trump aide, said voters could “probably” cross Vivek Ramaswamy off the VP list for President Donald J. Trump.

The topic came up after Trump punched back at Ramaswamy on TruthSocial after Vivek posted a photo of himself with a group of students who wore “Save Trump, Vote Vivek” shirts.

“Pretty safe to say it won’t be Vivek,” Miller said, according to the Post.

Miller was then asked about Nikki Haley being Trump’s potential choice for VP and he said he would let Trump speak about his decision.

Haley, for her part, has also refused to “officially” reject a possible VP selection, according to the Post. Trump has not publicly ruled out Haley, either.

All of that, of course, happened before Monday’s Iowa Caucus where Ramaswamy suspended his campaign following a fourth-place showing and endorsed Trump. Ramaswamy said he would do all he could to make sure Trump is the next President and, when asked about being a potential running mate, did not rule out the possibility.

  1. I hope and pray that Trump does NOT select Niki. She is funded by the war-monger, big government goons that are contrary to all he stands for. Vivek is probably too much like Trump for the VP decision. He absolutely should have an important cabinet position. If Trump wants a woman in the 2nd slot, Christy Noem would be a superior choice. Kari Lake is a bit “off the rails” to be considered but would make a strong Press Secretary.
