Former President Donald J. Trump continues to clean house at local county fairs across Iowa. After dominating the field in Franklin County, he finished as the top choice at the Johnson County booth at the group’s local fair.
Trump finished the Johnson County Fair with more than 500 pellets. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was second with 43. South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott was third with 37. Chris Christie and Mike Pence had 33 and 30. Nobody else eclipsed 20.
Trump collected 1,043 votes in Franklin County. DeSantis had 206 and Scott received 111. Pence finished with 99.
