President Donald J. Trump’s 2024 campaign released a new ad on Monday. The ad criticizes his presumed top competitor in the GOP primary, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The ad claims that DeSantis was struggling in his primary race for governor before being saved by President Trump’s endorsement.

“Trump’s support was so powerful, just two days after the endorsement DeSantis took a commanding lead and it propelled him to being elected governor,” the ad states.

It then shows a clip of DeSantis thanking Trump for his support when supporting him wasn’t the smart thing to do.

“Unfortunately, instead of being grateful, DeSantis is now attacking the very man who saved his career,” the ad states. “Isn’t it time DeSantis remembers how he got to where he is?”
