WHO-TV 13 wrote this article about Iowa Senate President Jake Chapman’s bill to prohibit obscene materials and pornographic materials from Iowa school libraries.

We will point out a couple of aspects of this article, but want to focus on one aspect that really stands alone.

WHO-TV 13 quoted Nancy Miller, who has kids currently in school in Chapman’s legislative district — according to WHO-TV 13.

Miller had previously shared on Facebook those interested in “fighting Jake Chapman’s sinister agenda” to deprive public school children of learning about alternative orientations while jailing “our precious teachers” could attend the subcommittee.

WHO-TV 13 interviewed Miller at the Capitol. Here is what she said…

“To say that these books are promoting pedophilia and sexual abuse is ridiculous.”

But here is what WHO-TV 13 didn’t tell you… Miller’s husband, Christopher Miller, is a registered sex offender.

His offense?

A non-Iowa conviction for possession of child pornography from 2011.

We have reached out to Rod Peterseon, WHO-TV’s news director and will update the story when he provides comment on the station’s behalf.
