The Australian Museum issued a statement defending its policy of offering a “safe place where everyone feels welcome” after a dude wearing women’s lingerie was photographed playing with Legos next to children.

Photos were taken at an event in April called “Nights at the Museum” and were shared to a Twitter account earlier this month.


A man wearing black fishnet stockings, pink boots and women’s underwear is playing with Lego blocks while young children surround them.
