***Rumors are swirling Iowa about polling location closures and changes. We’ve contacted the county auditors in Iowa to find out what is actually happening in their county.***

Buena Vista County will have all 10 of its precincts open on election day, but seven were relocated for this election.

Susan Lloyd, the auditor in Buena Vista County, said those changes were made a long time ago. More room for social distancing was the reason for the changes.

Bethany Murphy in Taylor County said all polling locations will be open. The number of polling locations has not been reduced and all poll worker positions are filled as of now.

Fayette County voters will also have all 14 polling places open. Lori Moellers has not made any changes and has the necessary number of poll workers ready to go.

Voters can find their polling place at this website.

Iowans can sign up to be poll workers here.
