I’m sure you’ve gotten plenty of messages about this already but I would love to add to that. Myself along with many others in the Winterset community found your “literacy lesson on bisexuality” article extremely distasteful. I’m still trying to figure out why you felt the need to post an article about this in the first place. I don’t have any connection with the school but know the teacher in question personally. He’s a great guy and doesn’t deserve to have his reputation tarnished by some douchebag looking for something to write about. An article like this only creates outrage in our small little Trumpy Winterset town where there’s enough homophobic folks as is. Just fuel for the fire. I don’t need a reply to this email, just wanted you to know that I don’t agree with it nor do I think it’s right to publicly try to humiliate someone like this for coming out to their class to help create a more inclusive environment for students.
(F-word) you.
Forgot to add this but in the article, you mention that identities will be kept private but MENTION THE TEACHERS FULL NAME in the article. What kind of bullshit is that. Again, no response needed, just want to let you know where we stand on this. Shove the article up your ass.
