The Urbandale School District has a mission of “relentlessly” building what it calls an “anti-racist community by deconstructing bias, discrimination and systems of oppression.”
And, at its new school, Olmsted Elementary, it proudly displays the following flags:
We reached out to administration at the school asking for an explanation for these flags being displayed in a school home to elementary students.
If we hear back from the administration, we’ll publish their explanation.
Where is the American flag. Where are our legislators?
