Well, we can certainly tell that it is Caucus time in Iowa as candidates are crisscrossing the state and meeting with as many Iowa voters as they can. Ron DeSantis is my choice for President because I believe that he is the candidate who can beat Joe Biden in November 2024. In addition, Governor DeSantis along with First Lady Casey DeSantis have led a conservative and ambitious agenda in Florida that closely matches Iowa’s success in the last few years. Governor DeSantis believes that American decline is not inevitable, it is a choice, and he will Never Back Down from setting this country on the right path.
Presidential candidates are coming into our state with increasing frequency, but few have the experience and the credentials that Governor DeSantis has. Quite frankly America is going in the wrong direction, and we all know it. We have drugs pouring across our Southern border, our cities are riddled with crime, policies at the federal level make it harder for an average family to make ends meet, and our current President lacks vigor and takes his cues from the woke mob.
Again, American decline is not inevitable, it is a choice and Governor DeSantis has laid out a positive path that will lead to American revitalization. Governor DeSantis’ vision to restore sanity to our nation includes embracing Fiscal and economic common sense. He wants ordinary Americans to have a good standard of living and part of this is to embrace American energy independence. The Governor, as President, would ensure that merit policies would replace wokeness and ensure Americans are being looked at based on their abilities.
Governor DeSantis believes that America is a sovereign country, and our borders must be respected. Our citizens deserve to be safe, and Governor DeSantis will shut down the border by building the wall, using technology, and deploying people along the border to turn away those coming to this country illegally. He will ensure the cartels that are bringing in dangerous drugs are stopped.
DeSantis, a US Navy veteran who served in Iraq with the Navy Seals, will reestablish integrity in our institutions like the military. These institutions are more concerned with global warming and gender ideology than they are with the mission they are supposed to be focused on – NATIONAL DEFENSE. Governor DeSantis will reverse this trend.
Governor DeSantis will return our Constitutional government back to the place that our Founding Fathers started from. We cannot have a true constitutional government when unelected bureaucrats are making decisions that should be done by elected officials or appointed and approved Judges. Governor DeSantis vows to return control of our government back to the rightful owners of the government: We the People.
Governor DeSantis has a proven track record of doing what he said he would. In Florida he didn’t just “say it”, he proved it. In Florida he chose facts over fear, he chose education over indoctrination, he chose law and order over rioting and disorder, he held the line when freedom hung in the balance.
Governor DeSantis vows to be energetic and take on the important issues. Most importantly, to me, DeSantis is a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record who has been elected by historic margins, just last year. There is no substitute for victory. This next election is one of the most important in our country’s history. DeSantis vows to “End the culture of losing that has infected the Republican Party in recent years”. We have done it here in Iowa and he has done it in Florida and that is why I support Governor DeSantis to be our 47th President of the United States.
