Two years ago The Iowa Standard reported about a teacher called Paul Miller. Miller, at the time, was teaching in the Hubbard Radcliffe Community School District at South Hardin when he was caught on tape verbally accosting students who supported President Donald J. Trump.

You can listen to the audio in this story

The Hubbard-Radcliffe School Board allowed Miller to resign.

Now Miller is reportedly in hot water following his actions while teaching in the Marshalltown School District. Miller is listed on the district website as an eighth-grade teacher.

However, on Saturday, Miller was charged with assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.

Details of the incident have not yet been made available. The Iowa Standard has contacted the Marshalltown Police Department as well as Marshalltown School District.

We will publish an update when we receive more information.
