If you haven’t already thought to make the comparison… for all of the comments regarding your recent posts about pronouns… HERE is where that will undoubtedly lead. As a teacher… being forced to comply with pronouns and potentially this in the future… leaves one feeling very uncomfortable to say the least. We’re assisting in what I truly believe is further harm as opposed to truthful help and love for these children.

Last thing I’ll say for now… I’d also encourage you to look into the laws that prevent any school staff from notifying parents of when students are requesting to be identified as an alternative pronoun and ask that you not inform the family at home. We have been told as staff that we are legally bound to listen to this request from minors. Makes me sick to think that some parents have no idea what happens behind so many of these closed doors in our public schools.

Thanks for what you do! Stay on mission.

You’re voicing so many of the concerned voices of those who feel silenced.

Happy Friday and God Bless.
