Today, Team Joni is releasing a new digital ad, highlighting one of the numerous reasons why former Colby Interests executive Theresa Greenfield can’t be trusted. The latest ad focuses on Greenfield’s 2018 campaign ending in felony election fraud.

Now in her bid for U.S. Senate, Greenfield has had three ethics complaints filed against her to the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) for possible misconduct.

“Theresa Greenfield has a record of dishonesty. From her last congressional campaign abruptly ending in felony election fraud to her current campaign receiving three Federal Election Commission complaints filed against them, it’s clear Greenfield cannot be trusted,” said Joni Ernst spokesperson Melissa Deatsch.  “Greenfield and her liberal allies will literally do anything to get ahead.”

According to The Des Moines Register, the Greenfield’s top aide forged signatures in exchange for ballot access and was charged with felony election misconduct and tampering with records.  In a follow-up story, The Des Moines Register then reported that Greenfield’s top aide took a plea deal and pleaded guilty to tampering with records.
