Trump takes another swipe at Reynolds who provided ‘zero bounce’ to DeSantis with endorsement

Former President Donald J. Trump took another swing at Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds on Sunday. Reynolds, who endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis nearly two weeks ago, provided “zero bounce” to DeSantis’ trailing campaign, according to Trump.

“Kim Reynolds of Iowa has gone from a popular governor to the MOST UNPOPULAR GOVERNOR IN THE UNITED STATES, not an easy feat,” Trump wrote on TruthSocial. “Her endorsement of Ron DeSanctimonious, who is 50 points down to me in the polls, has given him exactly zero bounce. He is a wounded bird falling violently from the sky.”

Trump said he wonders what Reynolds was promised in order to back someone who is “sooo far down.”

“I got Iowa first in the nation, ethanol security and $28 billion for our great farmers,” Trump wrote. “I also protected Social Security and MediCare. DeSanctimonious and Birdbrain (Nikki Haley) did nothing.”
