Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds addressed those gathered at the Sioux County GOP office in Sioux Center on Friday. Reynolds was part of Sen. Joni Ernst’s RV Tour.

Reynolds thanked everyone for showing up and said they’re seeing similar energy and momentum across Iowa. She noted that Sioux County helped her get across the finish line in 2018 and she’s counting on them to do the same for Ernst in 2020.

“We’re counting on you,” Reynolds said. “I had the opportunity to work with Joni at the county level. I had the opportunity to work with her in the Iowa State Senate. And then I watched as she made history as she was elected the first female combat veteran to serve us in the United States Senate. She has been fighting hard on your behalf and now we need to fight on her behalf.”

She made a pitch for Randy Feenstra in his congressional bid and noted the importance of the GOP maintaining control of the Iowa House and Iowa Senate.
