Solid.

Perhaps no other word describes Sen. Jake Chapman better. One can go up and down the list of issues and it’s likely Chapman checks every box — at least for Republicans and a fair number of Independents.

Unafraid of controversy and willing to stand for what is right, Sen. Chapman has made a name for himself in Des Moines by simply doing what he promises to do. And he’s done it without worrying about making a name for himself in the process.

It’s a great example of receiving earned recognition.

Sen. Chapman is a champion when it comes to the Second Amendment. He’s a champion on life. He’s a champion of responsible government spending. He’s a champion of the taxpayer.

The list could go on and on.

More than anything, Sen. Chapman does what he says he will do. Reliable and transparent, no legislator votes in line with the GOP platform more often than Sen. Jake Chapman.

Sen. Chapman’s presence in the Iowa Senate doesn’t just benefit his district, it benefits the state of Iowa.

While Chapman’s political future is bright and should probably venture further than the state legislature, his presence in the Iowa Senate is a gift that keeps on giving to Republicans across the state.

As far as candidates worth fighting for, he tops the list.
